Project Kickoff: We kicked things off by clearly defining the goals for Valhalla MMA. Understanding the audience and identifying key features set the foundation for what was to come.
Research and Planning: Extensive competitor analysis helped us stay on trend while formulating our own unique content strategy. This phase was crucial for shaping the direction of the website.
Design Phase: In Figma, I crafted wireframes to map out the site's structure. The transition to Adobe Suite allowed me to create detailed design mockups, infusing the MMA theme into color schemes, typography, and visuals.
Prototyping: Interactive prototypes in Figma brought the design to life. This step allowed us to visualize user interactions and make adjustments before diving into development.
Client Collaboration: Regular check-ins and feedback sessions ensured that Valhalla MMA's vision aligned with the design. Revisions were made based on client input, maintaining a collaborative approach throughout.
Development: WordPress was our chosen platform for development. After setting up the environment and selecting a fitting theme, Figma designs were translated into code. This integration seamlessly brought the envisioned design to the web.
Content Population and SEO: Creating and populating content was a detailed process. SEO optimization was prioritized to enhance the website's visibility on search engines.
Testing and Refinement: Rigorous testing, including cross-browser and device checks, ensured a smooth user experience. Any issues were addressed, and adjustments were made for optimal functionality.
Client Review and Deployment: A final review with the client led to the green light for deployment. The transition from development to a live server was smooth, marking a significant milestone.
Training and Handover: Providing the client with the necessary training empowered them to manage content independently on WordPress. Credentials and documentation were handed over for future reference.
Post-Launch Support: Ongoing post-launch support was established to address any unforeseen issues and implement updates as needed.
